free zune wallpaper sites

i have been collecting a bunch of zune wallpapers, and i thought i would give you the benefit of my experience with some sites. below are links to sites with a quick blurb about them. i should be getting my zune next week (dec. 12th). once i play with photos and backgrounds on my zune i am going to make my collection available. i have accumulated over 600 images so far. come back in about two weeks for more wallpaper. in the mean time, in order of preference…

• wallpapers for zune - this site has quite a few images. they are arranged in categories right on their main page with how many images are in each category. click on a category and you have a page with 12 full size wallpapers ready to right click and save. then click next page, next page, etc. to go through the category. simple, clean and easy. what more could you want.
• slav mobile - this is a super simple sight. text categories are on the home page which lead to pages with 15 images at a time. again, you have to click the image and go to the page where two images (one for zune one for cell phone) are ready to right-click and download.
• .be zuned - self proclaimed as “the ultimate zune wallpapers collection.” they have a list of categories down the left, including “top 8″ and “recently added” sections. nice touch. you get 8 images to a page. however, don’t right click and save from the 8-up display as you need to click the image and go to the actual page to get the full size background. an extra step i would prefer not to deal with. overall a nice looking site worth checking out.
• free zune backgrounds - very confusing navigation, but worth digging through to get some nice images.
• daniusoft - this is a page that has a few categories. daniusoft makes software for the zune, and a number of other portable devices. nothing too special, but a decent selection to check out.
• zune scene’s zune wallpapers - this is just one page, so its easy to scroll and get what you want quickly. not a lot there, but worth a quick look.
• zune-wallpapers.com - not too easy to navigate. there are a lot of ads to look past. but they have some nice images to justify some time.
• zuneflow - you have to scroll past the ads on this one, but the images are worth scrolling for. they arrange them two wide on their pages, which is highly limiting. they should go to three or four wide. they have plenty of room. they also list the categories at the bottom of the pages, so you have to scroll that far. regardless, this site is definitely worth spending time browsing.
• zune art - the usual list of categories and pages of images. just not enough to get excited about.
• free zune wallpaper - hard to navigate. all images are full size, which is nice, but they are stacked one on top of another which makes for lots of scrolling. you will also have to scroll past a bunch of ads as well. there are some categories on the right, but almost disappear in the confusion.
• zune wallpaper - nothing inspiring here. a few categories with far too few images to waste your time. oh, and you have to register to save the images. don’t bother.
